This place is amazing! We have taken our dogs here for years now. The staff is wonderful and friendly and always go out of their way to make our experience a great one! Definitely 5 stars!!!
We have taken our dog here a number of times - from a 2-3 day stay up to a long week's family vacation. Each time - we are glad we did! The owners and employees are all helpful, kind and genuinely love animals. Our Cooper arrives happy and gets picked up happy. And they always go the extra length to make sure she's good in between...including extra play time outside and grooming before she comes home. HIGHEST recommendations for them.
We took our 6 month puppy there while we went on our first family vacation for a week. He had never been away from us and he was quite upset that we left him and unsure of the staff at first except for Haley. He had to be moved three times, and they even went over twice to comfort him and walk him at 4 am. I would call everyday and check on him and Patty would fill me in. She told me by day three he would calm down and she was right. When we went to pick him up he flopped down on the floor and was happy as a lark. He actually has been a better puppy over the past few days and sits on command and seems happier. We had taken our last two dogs three years ago and were very happy with them! We will be back.
We have Cardigan Welsh Corgis and now exclusively board them at this wonderful facility. Having top ranked show dogs and trusting them to be properly cared for is a taunting task. They always are happy to go to the kennel and always well taken care of. We noticed upon pick up that the kids are happy and not upset in any manner. Others places we tried the dogs would be dirty and clearly not happy with the kennel. We use this kennel a lot and have numerous dogs. Having been in the AKC dog show group for more than 35 years, we know what we are talking about. Give them a chance to pamper your pups as well.
Me and my daughter were going on vacation for a week and my aunt suggested paws and claws for boarding. I was hesitant at first because my dog is a patterdale terrier and she's quite a handful. I wanted to meet the staff and see the place. Patty (owner) was super friendly and helpful. She gave us a tour and we left Lydia there for a couple of hours to get use it. So I was very comfortable when we left her there for a week. I called every day to check on her and the staff was so friendly and gave us reports. The groomer did a wonderful job with her nails and bath. She smelled so good and her coat was shiny. Thank you to all the staff for taking such good care of our fur baby. Don't hesitate to leave your animal here. They are definitely in good hands. I recommend this place. ❤️
